PICKING AND PASSIVATING
Stainless steel can be protected and made more resistant using pickling. Immersion pickling and passivation allow us to remove impurities from stainless steel surfaces, even over large areas.
Our vat measures 7.4 x 2.4 x 2.7m. Larger pieces that are too large for our vat are spray-pickled in-house.
Pickling can also be done on your premises or at the construction site upon request.
After pickling, all parts are passivated. Your stainless steel components will then be optimally protected for many years to come.
PICKING AND PASSIVATING
Stainless steel can be protected and made more resistant using pickling. Immersion pickling and passivation allow us to remove impurities from stainless steel surfaces, even over large areas.
Our vat measures 7.4 x 2.4 x 2.7m. Larger pieces that are too large for our vat are spray-pickled in-house.
Pickling can also be done on your premises or at the construction site upon request.
After pickling, all parts are passivated. Your stainless steel components will then be optimally protected for many years to come.
ELECTROPOLISHING
Stemar Group are also specialists in electropolishing, a surface refinement procedure that removes micro-crevices and other roughness, leaving the surface considerably smoother.
Our oversized vats measure 6.0 x 1.5 x 2.5m and your components can be electropolished in our vats as well as outside the polishing bath.
Small parts and components up to a specific size can be completely immersed in one of our range of polishing baths. Larger parts are also handled outside of the bath in an enclosed area.
